StrataCare's State Reporting system provides significant benefits that go beyond basic reporting capabilities. The biggest challenge for those in the Workers' Compensation arena is not the process of reporting required data to the state… the real challenge is obtaining or extracting the data and preparing it for reporting.
The State Reporting Department at StrataCare provides both State Reporting and Compliance management services. This key function ensures our software meets all regulatory compliance requirements. Clients can use StrataCare's State Reporting Module and file their own State Reporting documentation or rely on StrataCare to use the module to file documentation for them.
StrataCare's State Reporting Module attacks the task of medical data reporting at the front of the process instead of the typical post bill review collection approach. Our bill review application, StrataWare.NET, provides helpful onscreen edit checks upon data entry of bills, as gentle reminders of state-specific data elements required to produce compliant and turnkey medical data reports and files.
But the State Reporting Module capabilities go even further. The data that is typically not required for bill review, but is required for state reporting can be automatically loaded from the users Claim, Provider Demographics and Provider Payment files via an EDI directly into the StrataWare.NET database.
This focus on required data being entered or obtained and then stored within StrataWare.NET's database, combined with the application's powerful report generation capabilities results in State Reporting documents that can be generated seamlessly and easily from existing data sources without multiple queries, endless searches, additional keying of data, or time consuming export/import routines.
StrataCare's compliance management services ensure that the State Reporting Module is consistently updated as new states implement or modify existing reporting requirements, giving you peace of mind that your medical data reporting activities are within each jurisdiction's mandated rules and regulations.
